Pirate Party

This is always a fun party, especially now with the success of the Disney Pirates franchise. You can do this with minimal effort, or you can go all out. There are all sorts of great pirate decorations available now. Check this site out for Pirate stuff to decorate your Bay Area, Silicon Valley party.

• If you're giving away prizes/favors, try displaying them in a treasure chest.

• Serve rum drinks. Put together your favorite rum drink in a bowl and label it Grog

• Send out invitations that look like treasure maps

• Sprinkle around gold chocolate coins

• Have a treasure hunt.

• Costume contest is a must. People will, for sure, get totally dressed up

• As for decorating, a lot of luau decorations can be used in a pinch, fish nets, tiki torches, etc.

• Have someone take pictures in front of a tropical backdrop with the dressed up .... birthday boy? the CEO? (or just hire someone) to dress like Captain Sparrow

• We've even seen an enterprising group in San Jose build the side of a ship with cannons and everything that people had to walk through to get in to the party! We can provide fog or lights for your cannons.

• Be sure to send out Thank You Cards. Make it easy on yourself and automate the process. It can be done automatically leaving you more time to recuperate. You pick the names and addresses and what card to send (all on the internet) and we print, stamp and mail all the cards for you. We're in Silicon Valley, use the technology.
